Chocolate Truffles


  • 200g dark chocolate, broken into pieces

  • 50g unsalted butter, chopped

  • 3 egg yolks

  • 30g powdered sugar, sifted

  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar

  • Cocoa powder (or chocolate powder for kids)

Chocolate truffles


  1. Melt chocolate pieces in a double boiler until smooth.

  2. Add Butter & Flavors: Mix in the butter, then stir in egg yolks, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar off the heat until smooth.

  3. Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours until firm.

  4. Shape & Coat: Form into balls and roll in cocoa or chocolate powder.
